Update: The more I think about it the more amazing it is to me that this little guy can have features from generations past. I know that Kip's grandfather sees his father's eyes in Edward. I now see my grandfather's head and ears in Christopher. I didn't think I would ever see those again. Sometimes we like to look at the kids and say, "Where did you come from? Where have you been?" It's now so clear that they have been a part of us all this time. It makes me happy that I found Kip and happy these perfect combinations of our families made these perfect little boys. It's amazing to think that someday after I'm long gone, someone will have my eyes or my eyebrows - that we live on through better versions of ourselves. What a true miracle.
