Trips // Keystone, CO

Well, we just returned from a nice little trip to Keystone with some friends.  I don't have too many pictures to share because Edward got sick with altitude sickness and refused to wear a coat, hat or gloves.  Poor guy was just incredibly irritable the whole time.  We didn't really figure out it was altitude sickness until he vomited all night on the third day.  Definitely a learning experience and now I know the signs.  He did have fun playing with his buddy Cruz.  It's really cute to see them playing together like little buddies.  Edward usually spends most play dates guarding toys and watching other kids, but he really interacts with Cruz.  They giggle and chase each other and play "crash the cars" - a boy game that I don't totally understand.  Ok, here's some pics!

Edward, waiting for the bus.  This outing last ed about 20 minutes.

See no coat, no hat, no gloves (but a really awesome sweater)

Lonely tree with Christmas lights outside our condo.  I appreciated him.

Finally sleeping after a rough evening.  Fact: Toddlers take up more space in any size bed than any other mammal on earth (yes, even elephants).  They actually require 97% of any available bed space.

Update: I forgot to mention one of my favorite things that happened on the trip! Edward was looking out the window of the plane (the new Southwest plane -very nice) and telling us all of the things he saw in the clouds, including a dragon and a donkey.

"Ohh yooka out there! A dragon!"

I love his little imagination.
