My sweet, sweet Christopher, how can a month have flown by so quickly! You are the most beautiful little baby with the most perfect little round head. It's been fun seeing your personality develop over these first few weeks. You love to eat and you have a great, dramatic cry that makes me want to drop everything and run to hold you. I've learned that all you really need is a little snuggle and you are ok. I've taken to carrying you around in a Baby Bjorn all day long. I love having you so close to me and feeling your little breath against my heart.
So far you're not too sure about Edward even though he adores you. You seem to instinctively scream as soon as he gets near. But you should know he is already your biggest protector, often getting to you first when you cry.
You look a lot like your dad and you are just as comfortable snuggling up to him as you are to mommy. He is actually better at getting you to sleep than I am, even though he doesn't believe me when I tell him that.
I will forever cherish this last month with you, especially those first few days in the hospital. Just the two of us, watching The Bachelor and getting to know each other. I can already tell you are different from Edward and I love that you are clearly your own little strong soul. I can't wait to watch you grow.
