Christmas Craft Time: Ginger Bread House

Don't be jealous of our ginger bread house skillz.  Edward and I are just an incredibly talented team of builders and designers.  I put frosting on and Edward licks it off.  Edward also laughed harder than I've ever heard him laugh as I attempted to squeeze the frosting out of the bag.  It made the entire project worth while.

And for a little more behind-the-scenes action:

At some point he decided to take his clothes off.  This is common in most of our activities around the house.

I don't know what was happening there, but it's funny.

And just like The Sand Mandala tradition of the Tibetan Monks, which involves creating and then destroying beautiful mandalas made from colored sand, we had to pitch the house.  It was, for us, a symbol of the transitory nature of material things.  Just kidding.  It was because Edward wanted to eat the house for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
