Dinovember

In an effort to have a little more fun with Edward and a little less drama, I'm instituting Dinovember: The Month When Plastic Dinosaurs Come To Life at our house.  Basically, I'm going to spend the rest of the month trying to convince Edward that his plastic dinosaurs come to life while he's sleeping.  My sister/friend Christina posted this article about Dinovember on my Facebook wall and I literally jumped into action.  Because I will do anything to have a little more fun around here.  I spend all day saying things like, "no, you may not touch the knives" "Please don't feed your brother" "No, you may not eat dog treats" "Don't you dare climb those shelves to get the dog treats!" I know, I'm so mean.  It's not fun being the enforcer. 

So here's my first attempt. We're going to start simple. For some reason Edward thinks it's hilarious when I accidentally eat all of his goldfish (which happens more often then I like to admit). When it does happen (shame), I make a goofy face and say, "uh oh, Mommy ate all your goldfish" in a silly voice and he dies laughing. And he has THE BEST laugh. So tonight the dinosaurs had a little binge. I'll update this post later with reactions.
