First time Trick or Treating for Edward and he
loved it!
(see video below)
We had so much fun trick-or-treating with our friends! It was soo cute to watch these little munchkins run around in costumes and talk with total confidence to our neighbors. I thought Edward might be a little nervous to go to strangers' doors, but I underestimated his will for candy. Once he saw what this was all about he became a pro! My favorite part was when they went to a house with a little old lady who took quite awhile to answer the door, get the candy and then get the candy in their bags (bless her heart). As the boys were running away, Ryan, 4, exclaimed, "whew! that was a hard one!" Ha! Oh the brutal honesty of a 4-year-old. The boys ended the night with the dads walking them over to the fire station where they got to trick-or-treat and climb on the fire truck! Pretty much Edward's dream come true!

Halloween 2012 Recap
Omgoodness. So cute. Especially love the faint 'trick or treats' which ended up not being heard it seemed in the excitement of the treats appearing. And that it is dark. Perfectly halloweeny. We have adopted this custom in Australia. But here it is in the middle of SPRING. All our holidays are back to front. For those of us with a slightly pagan (celtic) tilt this is un peu crazy making.
