Maybe He'll Be A Builder ...

I can already tell that Edward appreciates the finer things in life.  He loves pretty places and nice things.  He has a pretty good eye too! It's funny to hear a 3 year-old notice a comfortable room or a beautiful house.  While I don't want to raise a snob, I do want to encourage that aesthetic appreciation if it's something that could someday become his passion.

The picture above is "his house."  It's obviously not a house. I called it a bus stop and Kip laughed that only someone from Highland Park would call that a bus stop. Touché. Whatever it is, it is Edward's castle in his head. He always wants to go there.  When we drive by it he says, "that's my house!"

Right now he's really into building things. He loves to watch Bob the Builder and help Dad fix things. (He calls a screw driver a "goose-driver."). He notices houses and buildings being built and always wants to check them out.  He's loved watching our library being built. It's fun to wonder what he'll grow up to be. Whatever it is, I just want him to be happy and a good person.
