Sometimes Edward can be extremely, mind-numbingly stubborn, insisting on things like M&Ms for breakfast or screaming until he's blue in the face for all of his dinosaurs to be in the bathtub with him - all 50 of them. I have to pick my battles that's for sure and he never accepts no for an answer. He's 3. He's got nothing better to do. I get it. And I'd probably be worried that he wasn't mine or Kip's kid if he were any other way.
Sometimes it's more funny than exhausting. (Funny = He has to wear a funny hat to bed; Exhausting = he has to cut Daddy's steak with the steak knife).
Today was a funny day. Edward insisted on wearing a tiger tail everywhere - the one that usually goes on the back of my car to support Mizzou. (At home, he also insists on being "naked man," which posed a bit of a problem with the tail)
Tonight he had a reunion/photoshoot for all of the Baby Jesuses in the big Christmas show put on by our Church (Christmas at the Resurrection is a big deal y'all). He would not take off the tiger tail. It was like asking him to remove his arm. So he kept it on and solidified his place in history as Tiger Jesus. MIZ!
